This healthcare facility is an established hospital serving the Merrill community and surrounding areas. The emergency department features 8 beds and manages approximately 20 patient encounters per shift. The facility is part of a larger healthcare network with multiple locations throughout northern Wisconsin.
Opportunity: Board Certified - Emergency Medicine
This is a locum tenens opportunity requiring ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. The position offers flexible scheduling with the possibility of working at multiple facilities within the healthcare network.
Job Details:
- Coverage primarily at Merrill with potential coverage at other facilities within 1 hour drive
- Schedule consists of 5-7 shift stretches
- Shifts available in both day (7am-7pm) and night (7pm-7am) timeframes
- Approximately 20 patients per shift
- 24-hour laboratory and radiology services available
- No trauma, L&D, or newborn deliveries in the ED
- Credentialing timeframe is 60-90 days
- Act 10 acceptable
- Start date ASAP with ongoing need
Compensation:
