We are seeking a dedicated Diagnostic Radiologist with Mammography (biopsy) privileges for a locum tenens position near Sacramento, CA. This role is ideal for a radiologist interested in working in an outpatient clinic setting with immediate start dates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnostic Imaging :
    • Perform and interpret diagnostic studies across all modalities.
    • Conduct diagnostic mammograms, including breast biopsies.
  • Required Procedures :
    • Breast biopsies.
  • Setting :
    • Outpatient clinic with support staff including radiology techs and ultrasound techs.
  • EMR :
    • Cerner.
Practice Setting:
  • Support Staff :
    • Radiology techs, ultrasound techs, and other support personnel are available to assist.
  • Reason for Coverage :
    • Position available due to the resignation of a radiologist.
Requirements:
  • Certifications :
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
    • DEA registration.
  • State License :
    • Active California state license required.
Submission Requirements:
  • Board Certification : Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology.
  • Certifications : Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
  • Licensure : Must hold an active California state license.
  • Procedures : Experience with breast biopsies is essential.
