2nd OR 3rd Shift Electrical Control Technician

SMV Recruiting is actively looking for a 2nd OR 3rd shift Electrical Control Tech (electrically focused) in Concord, NC. Our client is looking for candidates with at leas t5+ years of electrical maintenance experience and 3+ years in a manufacturing setting. Experience with HVAC systems, boilers, piping, pumps, chilled water systems, and troubleshooting electrical controls is strongly preferred. Responsibilities:
Install, rig, troubleshoot, and repair all production machinery, tools, equipment, and provide light facilities support
Perform electrical repairs on production machines and troubleshoot PLCs (depending on experience)
Rewire circuits using ladder diagrams without documentation (to qualify as an ECT)
Maintenance on pneumatic and hydraulic components
Use a variety of precision measuring and electrical instruments
Maintain, repair and operate boiler, piping, pumps and chilled water systems
Ensure preventative maintenance procedures are followed
Maintain and repair HVAC equipment
Wire electrically, size accordingly and plumb both air and steam by either verbal instructions or from a print
Capable of set up and operation of a variety of both machine shop and maintenance repair equipment
Support department mechanics through hands on training and/or troubleshooting of equipment in production areas
Operate forklift trucks to move equipment and machinery
Requirements:
3-5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is required
5+ years of electrical maintenance experience required to qualify as an Electrical Control Technician is required
Experience with injection molding machines is strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics (especially within injection molding) is a plus
Welding experience is strongly desired
Forklift certification is preferred
Experience with ASI System, Matrix, and NCR Database is a plus
