Quality Assurance Testing Analyst
At Regions, the Quality Assurance Testing Analyst supports the application development organization by conducting software testing activities aimed to improve the functionality of applications systems across the organization. Primary Responsibilities Performs manual testing of applications Analyzes test data to determine pain points and recommend improvements or modifications to better meet customer needs Maintains documentation for testing activities and cases Collaborates with peers to create parameters and comparison data for improved accuracy Performs post-production validation May assist with coordinating non-functional testing activities, including performance testing, concert testing, and pen testing This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. Requirements High School Diploma or GED and six (6) years of quality or related experience Or Bachelor's degree in related field and two (2) years of quality or related experience Preferences Familiarity with Regions' testing standards Working knowledge of software implementation methodologies Working knowledge of test case design and strategy Working knowledge of test management tools such as Azure DevOps, qTest, or Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Skills and Competencies Ability to collaborate with other team members and teams Ability to research, analyze data, and derive data-driven solutions Strong priority management skills Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills Strong work ethic and self-motivation This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience. This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations. Full time Compensation Details Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
