We are seeking an experienced Architect to lead the end-to-end architecture of our Billing Platform, driving strategic initiatives to "Run our Company Better" and "Be More for our Clients". The successful candidate will design and implement a scalable architecture, rationalizing existing applications, and developing a roadmap for consolidation and simplification. This role is in Pittsburgh, PA, United States - Hybrid 4 Days a week in the office. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Design and implement a scalable architecture for the Billing Platform, reducing complexity and improving operational efficiency. Develop a roadmap for consolidating and simplifying 30+ existing applications, promoting standardization and eliminating unnecessary technologies and technical debt. Integrate the Billing Platform with other BNY Platforms, including DSS, Line of Business (LOB) systems, and corporate financials. Lead the effort to integrate externally with clients and 3rd party providers of data and payment solutions, enhancing our client offerings. Reduce the engineering footprint and tooling across multiple development organizations in Billing, promoting standardization and efficiency. Strategic Impact: This role will contribute to our strategic pillars by: "Running our Company Better" through process simplification and operational efficiency improvements "Being More for our Clients" by enhancing our client offerings and integrating with external partners To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience Advanced degree preferred 10-12 years of experience in technology and architecture roles, with experience in the securities or financial services industry a plus At BNY, our culture speaks for itself.
