Job Duties :

Vice President, Software Engineering with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah (Multiple positions available). Develop, enhance, support, and maintain the firm's software solutions to support its global businesses. Design and implement high-quality, scalable, and thoughtful technology solutions using both internal and open-source services. Own requirements gathering, user story refinement, development, testing (unit, integration, regression), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deployment. Collaborate with internal teams to develop solution designs. Identify external technologies to transform financial businesses and platforms innovatively. Work through all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to meet internal and regulatory standards. Design, implement, and maintain robust testing suites for safe, complete, and scalable solutions. Provide training and guidance to junior team members.

Job Requirements :

Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, with three (3) years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in the same fields, with five (5) years of relevant experience. Experience must include at least three (3) years (with a Master's) or five (5) years (with a Bachelor's) in :

• C++ or Java
• Full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and support
• Building multi-threaded and multi-process service-oriented applications within Unix environments
• Technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, RabbitMQ, or Kafka
• Relational database management systems like Sybase or Oracle
• Microservices architecture including REST, Spring, or similar back-end technologies
• Database query languages including SQL or NoSQL such as MongoDB
