Senior Electrical Project Engineer
nLocation: Halesowen, Birmingham
nSalary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)
A well-established engineering organisation is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Project Engineer to take ownership of electrical/control system design and project delivery across the UK and EMEA.
The Opportunity
nAs a Senior Electrical Project Engineer, you'll lead end-to-end project work, from concept design through to commissioning. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring full technical compliance, seamless integration, and high-performance system delivery for industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of innovative, value-driven electrical and control systems.
nCollaborate with OEMs, system integrators, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
nManage electrical/control system documentation and specifications.
nConduct risk assessments and ensure adherence to all relevant industry regulations (e.g., Machinery Directive).
nSupervise internal and external suppliers and contractors.
nSupport site work management and system commissioning across EMEA.
nIdentify and introduce new technologies to maintain competitive advantage.Required Skills & Experience
Degree or HNC in Electrical Engineering (ONC with significant experience also considered).
nStrong understanding of electrical systems, design standards, and statutory regulations.
nProven experience producing and interpreting electrical drawings.
nPLC programming experience and basic fault-finding capability.
