Position Title: Commissioning Technician
Location: Los Angeles Unified School District (Candidates must be able and willing to commute to Los Angeles, CA based office and make site visits as necessary)

Duties:

- n
- Manage the commissioning process on various in-house small to medium sized projects n
- Perform Commissioning design reviews, submittal reviews and closeout document reviews n
- Create pre-functioning and functional checklists and commissioning plans n
- Conduct Commissioning meetings and managing the commissioning process for assigned projects n
- Perform field observations and functional testing n
- Document and track test results on issue resolution logs n
- Create commissioning deliverables such as final commissioning reports n
- Assist in the review and development of staff training and continuing education opportunities n
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Project Manager of Commissioning n
Minimum Requirements:
Experience
n
- n
- Eight (8) years full time paid professional experience in commissioning n
- Working knowledge of building code, CHPS, and commissioning requirements n
- ANSI commissioning certification (CxA, CxT, BCxP, Certified Commissioning Professional) n
- Extensive knowledge of building, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems n
Education
n
- n
- Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelors degree, preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering, architecture or construction management n
Qualifications:

- n
- Experience in design or construction management with a focus on mechanical systems n
- Engineer-In-Training Certification or valid CA Professional Engineering License n
- Industry- recognized energy management certification n
Offered rate of compensation will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including education, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The salary range for this position is $136,000 - $142,000.
