nThe Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a broad range of experience levels including Experienced & Lead System Engineers to join the Systems Engineering team located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma .
nOur engineering teams work with customers to develop integrated solutions to enhance capabilities and performance across multiple existing aircraft platforms. A successful member of this team will understand and execute modifications and upgrades for Commercial Derivative and/or Bombers Aircraft.

System logical & functional decomposition/analysis

System architecture, design, and synthesis

System verification and validation of requirements

Support FAA and Military Certification

System analysis and project engineering (Technical Performance Measures, Risk, Issue, & Opportunity Management, SEIT performance/leading indicator metrics)

Lead and support cross-functional teams, working groups, program, and customer meetings and technical design reviews
n n - n
Developing and delivering SEIT products such as architecture models/documents, requirements databases, specifications, reports, etc.

Collaborating with customer organizations
n n - n
Mentoring and coaching (ensuring team understands & executes Boeing processes, ensuring quality of all the team's internal/external deliverables)

Traveling periodically to support customer and supplier meetings
n n - n
Utilizing Model Based Systems Engineering Tools (MSOSA, CAMEO, Rhapsody, DOORS, 3DX, TeamCenter, etc.)

Aircraft system and/or domain knowledge in the following areas is preferred: MIL Radio, Mil Nav, Mission System, Networking, Cabin Systems, IFE and Classified Processing, 787 Common Core Avionics, 777-300 AIMS/Avionics, 737-MAX 8/9/10 Avionics, LAIRCM, RWR, CMDS, Airworthiness, avionics interface / mnemonics (ARINC 429), MIL-STD 1553
nThis position is 100% onsite in Oklahoma City, OK.
nThis position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

Minimum of 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Ability to collaborate with team members and create plans for executing on deliverables

Strong systems thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams and leadership.

9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience in ICD development, logical architecture, requirements development, specification development, system functions and SSOW development.

Experience in Requirements Management and tools (i.e. IBM DOORs)

Experience in verification & validation of requirements

Experience in risk, issue, and opportunity management

Experience project engineering and executing system design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR)

Experience in systems integration and test including lab integration, ground test, and flight test

nSummary pay range for Experienced Level 3: $90,950 - $123,050
nSummary pay range for Lead Level 4: $111,350 - $150,650
