- This position designs, implements, tests, and automates control systems for process or manufacturing systems. This position has discretion over designs and modifications for client projects with some guidance. It also provides support to fellow team members. n
Location & Travel:
n- n
- Primary Location: Concord, NC Area with the possibility to support clients at other locations
- Up to 25% Travel: Travel to E2i's other offices for short-term projects, commissioning activities, and training courses. Travel will either be 4-5 days during the week, being home on the weekends, and in some cases, travel 10 days through weekends with 4 days off n

Your Roles Responsibilities:
n- n
- Building good relationships with customers n
- Designing, implementing, and supporting DCS, PLC, HMI, and SCADA software for control systems and equipment n
- Designing, implementing, and supporting electrical hardware systems n
- Understanding manufacturing processes and process instrumentation n
- Investigating and solving complex problems n
- Demonstrating solid rapport with clients, peers, and supervisors n
- Addressing on-call requests as needed n
- Being a self-starter that can work both independently and in team-based project environments n
- n
- Remaining a minimum of 80% billable with leadership and sales assistance n
What You Need for this Position:
n- n
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering field n
- 5-10 years of experience in process control and automation n
- 5-10 years of experience in programming/developing/configuring DeltaV, PLC, HMI, DCS, and SCADA software for control systems(experience with Rockwell, FactoryTalk View SE/ME; iFix, PlantPAx, PCS7, Siemens,or Wonderware is a plus) n
- n
- Ability to support Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) n
- Ability to read piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) n
- Ability to address on-call requests as needed
