Manufacturing Process Engineers lead our efforts in identify and drive out loses through standard and system development. They support the daily activities of the production line and/or processing areas, and build long term capability into their areas, systems, and technicians. Daily Responsibilities can consist of the following:
- Identifying, prioritizing, analyzing, and eliminating losses and inefficiencies
- Effectively developing procedures and technical documents for existing and new equipment
- Collaborating with technical experts, other functions, and other manufacturing sites to create best solutions
- Creating learning programs to coach and train technicians
- Creating and improving standards (Process Control Strategies and Centerline Packages) to enable us to achieve the performance targets for the site
- Understanding and working with state-of-the-art robotics and automated equipment
- High presence on the manufacturing floor
You may fit well into this role if you have:
- A BS in Engineering Discipline or Engineering Technology equivalent experience (Electrical or Mechanical preferred)
- 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing and/or R&D environment (consumer products a plus)
- Ability to have a flexible work schedule when needed to accommodate our 24-hour operations
- Good communication skills -written and oral
- Strong leadership capabilities that will allow you to coach others on the use of Operational Excellence
- Systems & Tools experience in data analytics and reporting a plus
