Join Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC as a Senior Electrical Engineering Systems Integration Engineer, focusing on the innovative launch vehicle integration for our state-of-the-art Project Kuiper initiative. We are seeking an experienced engineer who not only excels in technical and analytical skills but also has a proven track record of delivering effective solutions rapidly. In this role, you will:
- Develop and specify launch vehicle integration solutions tailored for various launch providers.
- Design electrical ground support equipment for Kuiper satellites.
- Create qualification plans to validate both launch vehicle and ground system integration hardware and software.
- Engage in occasional travel (10-15%) to launch sites and collaborate with external vendors.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support production and launch efforts.
- Lead system design and qualification reviews.
- Provide insights and review procedures for integration and testing processes.
- Act as a technical role model, fostering best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
As a member of our dedicated launch vehicle electrical integration team, you will take charge of the design and deployment of critical launch and ground support systems. Your leadership will guide tasks such as specifying and developing launch vehicle interfaces, qualifying integration systems, and overseeing vendor testing. Additionally, you will contribute to internal and external procedures related to vehicle integration and testing.

Basic Qualifications:
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Over 7 years of experience in hardware development and/or testing.
- Expertise in specifying and developing support hardware for electrical systems.
- Strong proficiency in designing and interpreting electrical schematics.
- Experience in electrical power delivery and harnessing.
- Familiarity with network communication protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with payload launch vehicle integration.
- Background in satellite or spacecraft assembly, processing, and integration.
- Knowledge in developing electrical ground support equipment.
- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing in automotive or aerospace contexts.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, Ruby, etc.).
- Experience throughout the full product lifecycle in Consumer or Industrial Electronics.
