Position Details:
Schedule: Full Time - Monday 8:30AM-5PM, Tuesday 7:45AM-4:45PM, Wednesday 8:30AM-5PM, Thursday 8:30a-5p, Friday 9A-5PM, alternating Saturday every 4-6 weeks 7:30AM-12PM
Location: 11 Salt Creek Lane, #100, Hinsdale, IL (may need to travel to Carol Stream, Woodridge, Bolingbrook or Plainfield to cover as needed)
Your Role:
As an Office Operations Assistant, you will be the face of our clinic, offering vital administrative and clerical support in a medical environment. Your contributions will help ensure that every patient feels welcomed and supported.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors, check them in and out, and ensure all necessary documentation is obtained.
- Verify and enter patient demographic information accurately.
- Obtain and confirm insurance authorizations/precertifications.
- Process medical record release requests and manage the scheduling and confirmation of patient appointments.
- Daily entry, review, and submission of charges for procedures and services.
- Collect co-payments and reconcile daily reports and deposits for accuracy.
- Provide general office and clerical support as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Experience: Previous work experience in a medical office is preferred.
