This Engineering role can be filled at Entry-level, Mid-level, or Senior Engineer level. Please see minimum qualifications list below for each level:

Entry Level - $82,500K

Mid Level - $88,200 - $108,000

Senior Level - $115,200- $141,000

Ranges are per year based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401K.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

As a Reactor Engineer, you will tackle advanced engineering challenges to support nuclear plant operations. Your role will include making critical technical decisions while leveraging your extensive knowledge in this functional discipline and its industry applications, alongside a thorough understanding of pertinent codes and regulations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs.
  • Offer technical guidance and direct involvement in the identification and resolution of reactor core analysis issues.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of engineering deliverables, maintaining proper configuration management and adherence to design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes.
  • Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of technical projects and programs.
  • Propose equipment, concepts, and techniques to enhance performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, rectify design or material flaws, or align with evolving codes and regulations.
  • Obtain Qualified Nuclear Engineering (QNE) status within 24 months of beginning the role.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned, including emergency response and departmental coverage to support outage activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Entry Level (New Graduate): B.S. in Engineering
  • Mid-Level Engineer: B.S. in Engineering and 2+ years of Nuclear or related engineering experience
  • Senior Engineer: B.S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer and 5+ years of engineering experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current or previous QNE certification
  • Professional Engineer Registration
  • Advanced technical degree or related coursework
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in reactor engineering
