Position Summary:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you play an integral role within our pharmacy team, delivering on our mission and demonstrating authentic care for our patients.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring Patient Safety
  • Supporting Pharmacy Professional Practice
  • Adhering to Regulatory Requirements
  • Implementing Quality Assurance measures
  • Delivering excellent Customer Service
  • Managing Inventory
  • Overseeing Workflow Management (excluding final prescription verification)

A vital aspect of your role as a pharmacy intern is promoting the health of our customers and patients through effective management of patient care programs. In addition, you will:

Education:
Actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program.
  • 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Possession or pursuit of valid intern or technician licensure as required.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Completion of all mandatory training within state regulations and timeframe.

Ability to:

  • Maintain consistent attendance, including nights and weekends.
  • Be mobile and remain on your feet for extended periods.
  • Lift, scan, and bag items as needed.
  • Exhibit finger dexterity for tasks such as typing and picking.
  • Reach for items overhead and stoop as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers orally.
  • Lift up to 20 lbs occasionally and exert up to 10 lbs frequently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Eligibility for immunizations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Upon meeting state regulations, pharmacy interns will be actively providing patient immunizations, a key function of pharmacy practice.

Pay Range:
The typical pay range for this role is $18.00 - $42.00.
