Primary duties for this position include but are not limited to:

Excellent communication skills are essential. Candidates must be or become proficient in the use of computer systems, including electronic medical records (EMR). Current medical certification/license is required. CPR certification is required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures.
- Record and maintaining records of vitals and other pertinent patient health data.
- Prepare and administer vaccines and injections.
- Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
- Complete prior authorizations for treatment and diagnostic testing.
- Record and follow up on laboratory and diagnostic test results.
- Manage patient communication, including returning phone calls, answering questions, and coordinating prescription refills.
