- The Advanced Process Control Engineer will troubleshoot and support existing APC application. Develop and implement new APC applications.
- Provide advanced process control documentation and training to operations and technical staff.
- Maintain and continuously improve current DMC applications including activities such as control loop tuning, model identification through plant step tests, DMC tuning, etc.)
- Issue monthly report with Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
- Stays abreast of industry best practices in area of specialty.
- Stay aware of developments in process control and APC capability and identify new improvement opportunities for the site.
- Maintain and improve alarm management systems and reports in collaboration with operations.
- Relocation provided. $140K-$175K.
- The Advanced Process Control Engineer will have a BS degree with an engineering major.
- 5+ years' experience in chemical, refining or industrial manufacturing and/or capital projects with prior responsibility for and familiarity with DCS functions and applications .
- Experience and knowledge of APC methods and techniques and experience and knowledge of DCS infrastructure.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
