About This Role

Tribe Gaming is seeking an experienced Director of Partnership Sales who will play a crucial role in generating revenue and building strong partnerships. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a player/coach capacity, balancing the responsibilities of managing and mentoring a sales team while actively participating in sales activities to meet and exceed both individual and team targets.

What You’ll Be Doing

Leadership & Management

Lead, mentor and manage a the Brand Partnership Sales and Partnership Operations team, driving performance and ensuring individual sales goals are accomplished Provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities to the sales team, helping them grow their skills and achieve their full potential. Create and implement performance metrics to monitor and improve the effectiveness of the sales team.

Sales Strategy & Sales Execution

Lead the development of the company’s sales strategy in order to achieve revenue goals Identify new revenue opportunities and strategically position Tribe Gaming’s offerings to prospective clients and partners. Manage the sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance and market trends. Actively participate in the sales process, maintaining and and growing an individual pipeline of sales opportunities in order to meet and exceed revenue targets Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners to foster long-term business partnerships. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, events, and finance, to ensure the successful execution of sales agreements. Stay updated on industry trends and the competitive landscape in order to recommend innovative sales approaches.

What It Takes To Be Successful

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Proven experience (5+ years) in sales leadership roles within the gaming, media, or technology industries. Strong track record of direct brand partnership sales, with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth. Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with a passion for developing sales talent. Strategic thinker with the ability to formulate and execute effective sales strategies. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Results-driven with a strong focus on meeting and exceeding revenue targets. Local to Austin, TX, with the ability to come into the office 3+ days per week.
