Maloya
Maloya is looking for a professional and motivated line cook to join our team. Our kitchen functions as a single, consolidated station, and the line cook is responsible for plating all of the dishes on our short dinner menu, as well as some prep. The line cook reports directly to Chef/Owner Tara Lebreton. We are a small team, and this role has a significant impact on our daily operations. We are passionate about our cuisine and culture, and love to share our knowledge with our team.
5 days/week, 30-33 hours. Weekend availability is mandatory. Other days can be flexible as needed.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- Safely and effectively use all necessary tools and equipment
- Stand and walk for an entire shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant
- Agility to multitask and complete a prep list in an organized and efficient manner
- Strong knife-handling skills
