Location:On site at our closed-door pharmacy (14700 Helm Ct, Plymouth, MI 48170)Salary range: $23/hourSchedule: 2nd shift: 3:00 PM-11:30 PMMonday - Friday, rotating holidays and weekendsWhat We OfferClosed-door Pharmacy - No more face-to-face meetings with customersComprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance (as low as $13.37/pay)Paid Time OffFlexible Spending and Health Savings AccountsFree Virtual Care - Telemedicine401k with company matchReferral Bonuses up to $1,000Life InsurancePet InsuranceLegal InsuranceMake a difference in the lives of others!We are growing and that means more opportunities Key Responsibilities:As an IV Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for assisting the IV Manager with the day-to-day operational needs of the Infusion department, adhering to the company's quality and customer service standards, policies and procedures, state and federal guidelines.Filling of IV orders to include, but, not limited to, mixing of IV medications, mathematically calculate doses, apply all sterile techniques as applicable to the job.Sending supplies and equipment to facilitiesMaintaining all IV mixing records.Performing regular cleaning and maintenance check on all equipmentProgramming of all infusion pumpsData entry of all applicable I.V. ordersResponsible for the ordering of supplies from various vendorsPerform other tasks as requiredPerform technician assignments as requested by the pharmacy management.Maintain all IV pharmacy related equipment and supplies in the equipment rental log.Actively contributes to the evaluation and continuous improvement of client services, policies and procedures.Assists with ensuring safety policy and procedures are practiced and adhered.Participates in special projects to identify and implement operational improvements.Ability to work with others in a positive productive manner anticipates and responds to the positions areas of responsibilities.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredCurrent registration as a Pharmacy Technician or Trainee with the State Board of Pharmacy required Skills & Abilities:IV experienceStrong computer skillsThorough understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledgeMath and analytical skills, with a focus on calculationsMinimum of two (2) years working in a long-term care pharmacy preferred but not requiredRemediSeniorCare (a division of Clarest Health) understands the universal needs of healthcare institutions with a personal touch that only an independent pharmacy can offer.
