ABOUT THE ROLEPart Time AM Shift (6:30am to 3:00pm) 2 on 4 off rotationAs an LVN Charge Nurse at Belmont Village, you will administer medications, support wellness initiatives, help ensure regulatory compliance and assist with quality monitoring in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. You will communicate with healthcare practitioners, ancillary providers, pharmacies, family members, and team members as needed ensuring timely clinical interventions and follow-up. You will lead and provide direction to Caregivers and Medication Technicians where applicable. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and demonstrates empathy. They excel in a fast-paced, physically active position, collaborate effectively, and embrace a growth mindset, prioritizing exceptional hospitality and helping seniors to thrive as they age.YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES Follow up on physicians orders, coordinate services with ancillary providers and report to physicians and families any changes of condition or other pertinent clinical care informationProvide medication administration to an assigned group of residents according to physicians orders and report any adverse reactions or clinical observations documenting as necessaryEnsure resident care and service plans are followed by overseeing tasks of Medication Technicians and care providersMake appropriate situational decisions and manage conflict in a positive and constructive mannerUpdate and review resident medical records, clinical documentation, and incident reportsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSActive LVN or LPN license in the State in which this community is locatedCPR Certified or ability and willingness to obtain within 30 days of hireOne year of medication administration experience preferredMust be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written EnglishIntermediate computer and mobile device skillsProfessional, pleasant and team oriented attitudeConsistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the communityPlease note that the above Responsibilities and Qualifications provide a general overview of the primary duties for this role and the basic qualifications.
