As the Lead X-Ray Tech, you will play a key role in managing the daily operations of the radiology department, ensuring the highest level of patient care, and providing guidance to other staff members.Key Responsibilities: Scheduling: Coordinate and manage the daily X-ray technician schedules to ensure optimal coverage. Protocols: Develop and ensure adherence to established imaging protocols and procedures for high-quality results. Clinical Duties: Perform X-ray procedures, interact with patients, and ensure accurate imaging while maintaining patient comfort and safety. Documentation: Update and maintain necessary documentation, including patient records and compliance reports. Staff Onboarding: Assist in onboarding and training new staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge. Coverage: Ensure adequate coverage for all shifts, including filling in for staff absences as needed. Quality Control: Maintain the equipment and facility to ensure all tools are functioning optimally and comply with healthcare standards.Education & Certification Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required; Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required. Valid X-Ray Technician License in the state of Arizona. ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required. Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.Ideal Candidate: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead a team effectively. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
