Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel Surgical Technologist for a travel job in Atlanta, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Surgical Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Assist surgeons during operative and invasive procedures in a scrub role Prepare operating rooms for surgery by setting up surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment Maintain sterile field and ensure all members of the surgical team adhere to aseptic techniques Specialize in high-acuity service lines including: Neurosurgery (craniotomies) Orthopedic surgery Thoracic procedures Urology, General, and Da Vinci Robot-assisted surgeries Operate and troubleshoot surgical equipment including Da Vinci XI robotic systems Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide appropriate instruments and supplies Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after procedures Ensure proper handling and labeling of specimens Collaborate with RNs and other perioperative team members to support safe and efficient patient care Required Certifications: Minimum 2 years recent OR experience Must have recent Neuro and Thoracic experience Solid Neuro, Ortho, and Craniotomy case experience required BLS (Basic Life Support) required About Nationwide Therapy Group NTG is a proud partner with healthcare professionals across the country.
