A Brief OverviewAssists the anatomic pathology lab by performing pre-analytic, post-analytic, and support functions.What You Will DoAccessions specimens for cytology and/or surgical pathology.Performs specimen processing for further workup in the anatomic pathology laboratory.Triages specimens within the department.Maintains equipment, re-stocks supplies and reagents.Able to resolve problem cases independently.Performs miscellaneous tasks within the department.Additional ResponsibilitiesPerforms other duties as assigned.Complies with all policies and standards.For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
