ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functionsOngoing ActivitiesSupervise students during lunch/recess and passing periods, including enforcing school rules school boundaries, and school behavior expectationsEnsure a safe environment in the lunchroom, school grounds and parking lotWork with other school staff to ensure sufficient level of supervision coverage in all areas of the lunchroom, school yards and parking lotHelp mediate and resolve conflicts between studentsAdminister first aid as neededManage computer logs and complete accident reportsHelp keep the campus cleanIdentify any major security or safety hazards and major repair needs in the recess area and ensure safety rules are followedAdditional:Demonstrate knowledge of, and support, the Aspire Public Schools mission, vision, value statements including antiracism, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior Perform other related duties as required and assigned QUALIFICATIONS Competencies:Good verbal and written communication skillsGood problem-solving ability; sound judgmentAbility to interact appropriately with children of all agesBilingual - Spanish and EnglishComputer skills Minimum educational level:High school diploma or equivalentFirst Aid and valid CPR training Experience required:1+ years experience observing and supervising K-12 students preferredOngoing behavior management and de-escalation trainingPhysical requirements:Stand, walk or bend over, kneel, crouch, reach overhead, grasp, push, and pull.
