The MFM (Maternal-Fetal Medicine) sonographer plays a crucial role in performing diagnostic imaging scans on patients from the 1st to 3rd trimester in high-risk pregnancies. This position requires the competent execution of both routine and specialized sonography procedures to produce quality images, aiding physicians and other healthcare providers in the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injuries or diseases. Responsibilities Perform a variety of scans, including: NT (Nuchal Translucency) 1st trimester scans Biophysical profile (BPP) Detailed (level II) scans Scans for twins and triplets Umbilical artery Doppler Middle cerebral artery Doppler Transvaginal scans Requirements Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program Minimum of 3 years of experience as an OB US Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) Shift Details 5 x 8-hour shifts, Days: 0700-1500 (Variable days)
