Job Title: General Manager - Americas

Location: Portland, OR, US
Salary Range: From$160,000 USD
Job Description:

1. Strategic Leadership & Business Growth
o Develop and execute a 35-year regional strategic roadmap alignedwith corporate objectives, leveraging market analysis, competitiveintelligence, and emerging trends in the ICT/test & measurementindustry.
o Oversee annual budgeting, P&L accountability, and resource allocationto maximize ROI across sales, marketing, and operations.
2. Operational Excellence
o Optimize end-to-end operations, including supply chain efficiency,inventory management, and customer service workflows, ensuringscalability and compliance with regional regulations.
o Foster cross-functional collaboration with global R&D, marketing, andfinance teams to align product launches and campaigns with regionalmarket demands.
3. Sales & Channel Management
o Direct a multi-channel sales strategy (direct, distributors, e-commerce)to exceed revenue targets
4. Team Development & Culture
o Build a high-performance culture by recruiting top talent, implementingleadership development programs, and fostering diversity, equity, andinclusion (DEI).
o Resolve cross-regional conflicts and align teams across time zones tomaintain cohesion and morale.

Requirements:

1. A strategic leader with excellent execution capabilities and a P&L mindset;
comes from an industrial background, is familiar with the electronics-related or test and measurement industries, possess strong businessacumen & strategic thinking, and entrepreneurial spirit;
2. Good understanding of applications and extensive business developmentexperiences in both direct key accounts and distribution channels, strongnegotiation skills, and high digital affinity.
3. Having proven track record of Sales or General Management experiences,well-demonstrated insights of AM market dynamics, capabilities in growingmarket shares by targeting potential new accounts and penetrating into newaccounts;
4. Familiar with Asia business culture is a plus
5. Engaging leadership. Establishing and maintaining a team and performance oriented company culture based on the values and principles of the Group
6. Hold a business degree with strong technical understanding/interest, or anengineering degree with a solid understanding of sales and financials, MBA isa plus;
