KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Private Equity to join our Growth and Strategy organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide account management support to one or more global accounts, working closely with the lead partners, and account directors on initiatives aimed at expanding KPMG's footprint at private equity client, as well as their portfolio companies
- Utilize your knowledge of the client to reconcile the client's needs with the solutions that KPMG offers, ensuring a thorough understanding of the Private Equity firm, and their needs at both the fund and portfolio company levels; champion KPMG Engage with the account team to best manage opportunities, client connections, and related tasks to drive a One Firm approach
- Perform financial analysis of key account metrics, work with account team to develop strategy, and assist marketing with creating client specific collateral
- Map out the users and economic buyers within the Private Equity client including portfolio companies; maintain and cultivate existing relationships, as well as identify and close gaps in current relationships
- Work with client delivery teams, departmental resources, and Department of Professional Practice (DPP) independence to address independence concerns efficiently; monitor the Sentinel system and other firm systems (for example, SYNC) for new revenue opportunities and trends
- Discuss potential new services, relationships, and proposal opportunities in a timely manner with the lead partner, leveraging insights from firm systems and client interactions
- Minimum five years of recent experience, ideally in private equity at a service line level
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate, and collaborate effectively both verbally and in writing, particularly with senior level global stakeholders daily
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task, as well as prioritize multiple work streams concurrently
- Demonstrated ability to communicate timely with work stream leads to balance work, and deliverables effectively
- Proven experience in relationship management, building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying and closing relationship gaps, and independently making day-to-day decisions with minimal supervision
- Role will require 3 days in the NYC office
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
