As a Senior Director of Ads Measurement, you will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of Pinterest's ad measurement product. The role is pivotal to how advertisers assess the impact of their campaigns on Pinterest; and you will be responsible for delivering robust, privacy-centric measurement solutions that align with industry standards.


What you'll do:


  1. Technical Leadership and Vision - Define and execute a global measurement strategy aligned with advertising objectives, market trends, privacy, and compliance. Provide technical guidance and mentorship on measurement tools, attribution models, and A/B testing.
  2. Hire and Develop Talent - Build and develop a high-performing engineering organization, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with Product, Sales, and Legal teams to develop and implement measurement solutions, and assist with advertiser and client-facing technical communication.

What we're looking for:

  1. Leadership and Experience:
  • 15+ years in advertising/e-commerce product development, with 7+ years in leadership roles.
  • Experience managing, hiring, and growing engineering teams and individual contributors.
  • Proven coaching and development skills for engineering managers and senior ICs.
  • Experience managing remote and hybrid teams is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Full-Stack Engineering expertise across mobile, web, backend, infrastructure.
    • Passion for engineering quality, testing, monitoring, and deployment.
    • Track record of building scalable systems and innovating with latest technologies.
  • Product Development:
    • Experience in experimentation and data-driven development.
    • Ability to participate in product strategy and design reviews.
  • Domain Knowledge: Ads and E-Commerce.
