Centura Wealth Advisory, a dynamic, registered investment advisory (RIA) firm serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals / families, is seeking a full-time, experienced investment professional to join our Executive Leadership team as the Chief Information Officer. As the Chief Information Officer, you will be a key member of our team helping to set strategic initiatives and trailblaze an unmatched culture. The Chief Investment Officer will play a pivotal role in shaping the firm's investment strategy and leading the investment team to deliver exceptional service and results. - Develop and implement the firm's overall investment philosophy and go-to-market strategy, ensuring alignment with the firm's goals, client needs, and market opportunities.
- Lead the investment team in the management of investment portfolios, overseeing the research, analysis, portfolio construction, and execution of investment decisions across public and private markets.
- Oversee the management of a diversified investment portfolios, including traditional asset classes (equities, fixed income, cash) and alternative investments such as private equity, private credit, and real assets.
- Serve as the primary leader for all investment due diligence processes, while reinforcing a robust, multi-stage due diligence framework for all current and potential investments
- Lead asset allocation decisions, rebalancing portfolios as needed to capitalize on market opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and geopolitical developments to inform strategic and tactical investment choices and risk management practices.
- Communicate investment philosophy, strategies, and performance to clients, stakeholders, and the broader investment community through presentations, reports, and client meetings.
- Collaborate with financial advisors, wealth managers, and other specialists to align comprehensive financial planning strategies with investment management.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key external partners, including fund managers, private market sponsors, custodians, and investment consultants, to enhance the firm's investment offerings and capabilities.
- Direct and oversee all trading activities for the organization's investment portfolios.
- Establish and implement best execution policies and procedures to ensure trades are executed efficiently.
- Oversee the organization's investment risk management framework.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in investment management and fiduciary standards.
- Mentor and develop investment professionals within the firm, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Represent the firm at industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to enhance visibility and credibility within the wealth management community.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities :
- Comprehensive knowledge of advanced investment principles, portfolio management techniques, and financial markets.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable investment insights.
- Extensive knowledge of various asset classes, with specialized experience in syndicated multifamily real estate, private equity, private credit and other alternative investments.
- Strong leadership and management abilities, with a proven capacity to inspire and guide teams toward achieving strategic goals.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and investment software, along with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex investment concepts clearly and persuasively to clients and stakeholders.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating initiative and independent judgment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Minimum Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is highly preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in investment management, portfolio management, or a related role within the wealth management or financial services industry, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership position.
- Advanced industry certifications such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or equivalent are strongly preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of financial markets, investment products (equities, fixed income, alternatives), and portfolio management strategies.
- Proven track record of managing ultra-high-net-worth client portfolios and delivering tailored investment solutions.
- Experience in strategic planning, team leadership, and business development.
- Proficiency in investment analysis software and advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
- Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
