Overview
Riverside Medical Group is seeking a full-time general gastroenterologist to join Riverside Gastroenterology Specialists in Newport News/Hampton, Virginia.
Highlights:
- Outpatient practice with inpatient coverage responsibilities, no weekend call responsibilities
- Collaborate with our 3 hospitalists, 10 outpatient physicians and 2 advanced procedural physicians
- Advanced practice provider support in outpatient clinic and inpatient setting
- Strong primary care referral base
- Epic EMR
- Active teaching facility with FM, IM & EM residents rotating with specialists if desired.

Education:
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
Certifications and Licenses:
- Licensed Medical Doctor State of Virginia
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Current DEA
Skills:
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Collaborative approach with other physicians and providers
- Ability to provide guidance to other medical staff.
- The ability to work in a demanding environment.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral Degree MD/DO, Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine (Required)
Experience:
- Successful completion of residency or demonstrated experience in medical specialty (Required)
Licenses and Certifications:
- Physician License (MD) - Virginia Board of Medicine (Required)
- Valid DEA of controlled substances registration (Required)
