This position is with the Alaska Family Medicine Residency/Providence Family Medicine Center, seeking a licensed Clinical Psychologist for our Behavioral Health Faculty role in the Addiction Medicine Training Program. Funded by a 5-year HRSA grant, this role aims to increase Family Medicine physicians' competence in behavioral health for underserved populations in Alaska. Responsibilities include curriculum development, clinical training, supervision, and behavioral health service provision. You will collaborate with the Program Director, Program Manager, and Behavioral Health Faculty to enhance resident training in trauma-informed care, harm reduction, SUD/addiction treatment, and suicidality management. The role involves working with Family Medicine residents across various clinical settings, providing real-time feedback and evaluations, and delivering integrated behavioral health services, including consultation and psychotherapy, within our outpatient Family Medicine clinic.
- Full-time 1.0 FTE position
- Monday to Friday schedule
- Relocation assistance and sign-on bonus available
- Experience in DSM-5/ICD-10 assessment and diagnosis required
- Experience in clinical supervision required
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and harm reduction strategies preferred
