We are looking for passionate adult and child psychiatrists for both full and part time roles. The ideal candidate will be motivated by joining a quickly growing organization, and excited to help us improve the care experience for patients and providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides onsite psychiatric care that is timely and appropriate and/or medical evaluation for patients to determine treatment needs.
- Offer medication management and ongoing care consistent with current practice standards.
- Provides concurrent documentation in the EMR in an accurate manner which is consistent with Geode procedure and applicable standards.
- Deliver services using telehealth applications to provide remote health care when appropriate.
- Provide leadership, collaboration, and training to nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
- Document and navigate EHR independently and in a timely manner.
- Work collaboratively with clinical leadership, billing, and compliance to ensure accurate and appropriate documentation.
- Board certified in Psychiatry.
- Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine.
- A proactive approach with a strong work ethic and desire to participate in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion
- Ability to maintain highly confidential information
- Standard office environment with occasional travel to client locations.
- May involve evening or weekend hours to accommodate client schedules.
- Potential exposure to stressful situations and emergency scenarios.
- Ability to sit for 3-4 hours at a time between patient care and documentation.
- Fine finger coordination required for typing, pressing objects such as utilizing laptop/mouse for documentation purposes
- Ability to speak clearly with patients and team members so others can understand.
- Ability to hear and understand others when speaking
- Ability to view computer screen monitor, small objects few feet away
- Ability to act and move quickly in emergencysituations involving patient care
