Do you have a passion for making a real difference in the lives of people living with mental health challenges and disabilities? At Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH), were seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatrist to join our Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) in Dunn, North Carolina for 24 hours per week.

What Youll Do

This role involves providing essential psychiatric services to individuals living with mental health challenges. Your expertise will significantly impact the lives of those you serve. In this role, you will:

  • Provide psychiatric services, including evaluation, medication management, and outpatient psychotherapy in a community setting.
  • Identify appropriate evidence-based or emerging best practice models to be employed by staff in providing services.
  • Ensure coordination between MH/SA services provided by ESUCP with primary physical health providers.
  • Consult with primary physical health providers on the clinical aspects of the individuals being served and the implications for healthcare needs.

This is a Part-Time Contract Psychiatrist Position Dunn, North Carolina

What Were Looking For:

To join our team, you must have a willingness to provide care in various client settings as this is a community-based treatment team. We also require:

  • A Medical Degree from an accredited institution with an active, unrestricted license to practice in North Carolina.
  • Current Board certification in Psychiatry; and ASAM-certified; or eligible, and have five years or more experience providing services to persons with mental illness.
  • Experience in treating individuals living with severe mental illnesses such as Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, and Bipolar I with Psychosis.
