Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School seeks a Chair of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences. This position is a senior leadership role responsible for advancing the strategic, clinical, educational, and research missions of the department. This position is responsible for fostering excellence in patient care, advancing innovative research, promoting top-tier education and training programs, and championing equity and inclusion. The Chair will serve as a key member of the institutions leadership team, collaborating across disciplines to achieve strategic goals. This leader will establish the department as a national model for integrated academic and clinical excellence in womens health and reproductive sciences.
The Chair is responsible for fostering a collaborative and innovative environment that promotes excellence in patient care, groundbreaking research, and the training of future leaders in the field. This position requires a dynamic, passionate, and capable physician leader with a proven track record across the spectrum of collaborative clinical leadership, administrative experience, program development, individual scholarship, educational excellence, successful faculty recruitment, and community engagement. In addition, this role requires designing, implementing, and integrating effective programs within and across complex organizations. The successful candidate will possess exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, as well as a deep commitment to advancing the field of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience:
- M.D. Degree and board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Licensed or eligible for medical licensing in New Jersey
