Position Summary: Gastroenterology faculty. The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE is recruiting an academic gastroenterologist to join us. We are expanding and offer opportunities for clinical scholars in general gastroenterology and major subspecialty areas including inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, motility, endoscopy and intestinal failure. The potential for outreach to smaller communities and rural areas, telehealth and participation in clinical research is a highlight of this position.
Our hospital partner, Nebraska Medicine, is one of the nations most highly rated centers for the diagnosis and treatment of digestive disorders, covering the full breadth of gastrointestinal diseases and liver disorders. We utilize some of the most advanced diagnostic technologies available in the country.

The ideal candidate must be an MD/DO (or equivalent degree), who is board certified/eligible in gastroenterology with a strong commitment to patient care and teaching. Minimum Qualifications:
- MD, DO, MBBS or equivalent
- Board certified in internal medicine
- Board certified/eligible in gastroenterology or hepatology
Working Environment: Office environment, Lab environment, Clinical environment. Full extent of working environments TBD by patient care, academic and research activities.
