Psychiatrist (New London)

Northeast Medical Group is seeking a Psychiatrist to work at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital in New London, CT.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing counseling and outpatient psychotherapy to adult patients.
• Conducting diagnostic assessments and psychiatric treatments in outpatient, emergency, or inpatient settings.
• Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating psychiatric disorders.
• Preparing and reviewing case histories and creating treatment plans.
• Referring patients for additional mental healthcare when needed.
• Documenting care in a web-based tracking system shared with primary care providers and other treating professionals.

Candidates must have an M.D. (or foreign equivalent), completed Psychiatry residency, a valid CT physician license, and BE/BC in Psychiatry before starting employment.
