Catholic Health is currently recruiting a Board Certified/Board Eligible fellowship-trained Gynecologic Oncologist to join our growing Center for Gynecologic Oncology and Womens Health Service Line.

In recent years, Catholic Health has invested in the Womens Health Service Line to develop a system-wide integrated program including specialties such as gynecologic oncology, maternal fetal medicine, Urogynecology, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. These subspecialists support over 130 obstetricians/gynecologists practicing across the system, with over 4,700 deliveries annually.
Clinical responsibilities include comprehensive care for patients with gynecologic cancers, outpatient assessment, inpatient care, and major operative procedures. Additional duties involve participation in clinical trials and training of medical students, residents, and fellows. Salary Range: $403,875 - $612,898
Opportunity Highlights:
- Participate in an expanding system-wide gynecologic oncology program
- Engage in an integrated multidisciplinary advanced gynecologic surgery program and be part of the Center of Excellence for MIGS
- Access to Da Vinci Robotic Surgical System (Xi) across all hospitals
- Involvement in GME programs including OB/GYN Residency and Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship; future programs planned include MFM and Gynecologic Oncology Fellowships
- High volume, diverse gynecologic oncology cases
- Collaborate with experienced colleagues including senior gynecologic oncologists and surgeons from various specialties
- Administer chemo, targeted, and immunotherapies at a state-of-the-art cancer center
- Participate in clinical trials via institutional, pharmaceutical, or cooperative studies through Roswell Park Cancer Center affiliation
- Work within a program emphasizing social responsibility, respect, dignity, advocacy, and community service
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Provide multidisciplinary care for gynecologic malignancies
- Support other services including general OB/GYN and surgical specialties
- Adhere to accepted standards of care and ethical principles
- Participate in GME activities, including lectures and teaching, demonstrating a commitment to academic medicine
- Share after-hours and weekend on-call duties
- Conduct or participate in clinical trials
- Monitor quality measures and lead quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- NYS Licensed MD or DO
- Board Certified / Eligible in Gynecologic Oncology
- Strong clinical background in gynecologic malignancies
- Minimally invasive and robotic surgical skills preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to promote a culture of safety and performance improvement
The salary range is an estimate based on various factors including education, training, skills, and experience. Benefits, bonuses, and incentives are not included in this range.
