This is an outstanding opportunity to join a vibrant and collegial academic environment. The Division of Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Utah School of Medicine has an immediate opening for an Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) Cardiologist. The Cardiologist will provide cardiac care to children and adults with congenital heart disease in outpatient and inpatient settings, and participate in night and weekend call coverage in Pediatrics and the ACHD program. Most pediatric clinical activities will be at Primary Children's Hospital, a tertiary referral center for a three-state area overlooking Salt Lake City. Patients with congenital heart disease in transition age and adults with congenital heart disease are seen at Primary Children's Hospital, Intermountain Medical Center, and the University of Utah Hospital. Responsibilities include clinical care, teaching, research, and administration.
The ACHD provider will join a 30-member division of Pediatric Cardiology, including 4 adult congenital cardiologists. The division has a growing volume of adults with congenital heart disease, a thriving fellowship program, active clinical research, and a NIH-funded Pediatric Heart Network site. Protected time for clinical research and mentorship is available.

Qualifications include completion of Pediatrics or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Residency, and Board eligibility/certification in Pediatric Cardiology and Adult Congenital Heart Disease. A faculty appointment at the rank appropriate to experience will be offered.
