Full-Time Hospitalist Physician in Akron, OH with National Wound Physician Group

Become an expert in wound management, learn from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors, and utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and wound care modalities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states.
• Receive physician-level wound management training and participate in a wound fellowship for clinical excellence.
• Deliver modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings such as Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily.
• Document clinical care in real-time using proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the practicing state.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Employment Details

• Work hours: Monday - Friday, 7 am - 4 pm; part-time options available.
• No call or weekend responsibilities.
• Mobile practice within a 40-60 mile radius of the practice location.
• W2 employment with no visa sponsorship; includes paid training and 6-month wound care fellowship.
