Urologist - Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (New York)

As we continue to grow and expand, Northwell Health in conjunction with The Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra is seeking a Board Eligible/Certified Urologist with fellowship training in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery , to be based in Westchester, NY. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate experience and training in pelvic health and medicine appropriate for an academic tertiary care level.

Qualifications:

1. MD Degree or equivalent from an accredited School of Medicine.
2. Completion of Residency in Urology with Board Certification.
3. Completion of Fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery with Board Certification.
4. Currently licensed as a physician in the State of New York.
5. Must possess recent experience in generally accepted and currently used methods and techniques.

The Department of Urology

Our group is world-renowned in the treatment of prostate, kidney, bladder, and testes cancers, and was the first in developing and offering safer and less invasive treatments. Commitment to research and academic initiatives is essential. The department is part of the Zucker School of Medicine, ranked 66 in the US News and World Report. Candidates will be expected to participate in medical school activities and train residents at our health system.
