The University of Virginia (UVA) Community Health Anesthesiology Department is seeking an American Board of Anesthesiology certified or certification-eligible candidate to join our dynamic Anesthesiology team in the growing Northern Virginia area. Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia and related care
- Participate in pre-anesthetic preparation and evaluation
- Supervise Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs)
- Develop patient-specific anesthesia care plans
- Monitor and adjust patients' physiologic conditions as appropriate for the type of anesthesia and patient needs
- Transfer patient care responsibilities post-operatively to ensure continuity and safety
- Support operating room procedures
- Participate in additional responsibilities as needed
- Engage in professional development for self and others
- Call schedule not to exceed 1 in 4
