A Day in the Life
Medtronic is seeking a Hybrid Clinical Territory Manager (CTM) / Territory Manager (TM) to support both clinical education and sales growth within Hawaii. This unique role blends the responsibilities of a CTMfocused on patient and HCP training and supportwith those of a TM, driving territory sales and business development. The position reports to the Clinical District Manager.
This is a field-based position supporting Hawaii, with an expectation to be in the field 5 days/week. Ideal candidates will reside in or near Honolulu. Preference will be given to local candidates.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with Medtronic's Diabetes business, which is undergoing a strategic separation to foster growth and innovation. This separation aims to enable more agility and leverage increased investments to drive innovation and improve patient care.
- Educates patients, physicians, nurses, educators, and other healthcare professionals (HCPs) on managing diabetes with Medtronic products.
- Troubleshoots clinical and technical issues related to Medtronic products and therapy.
- Assists HCPs in assessing and managing patients' Medtronic therapy for positive outcomes.
- Plans, organizes, and manages assignments within budget.
- Travels regularly within the territory and attends seminars, symposiums, and events as directed.
- Collaborates with other Medtronic Diabetes departments to ensure optimal patient experience.
- Participates in ongoing competency development through various training mediums.
- Conducts sales calls to promote, sell, and service Medtronic Diabetes products and services.
- Implements quarterly sales plans to meet sales goals.
- Manages territory expenses, product returns, and inventory.
- Builds relationships with referral sources to establish a solid business base.
- Completes administrative reports as required.
- Uses approved sales collateral to support promotional needs.
- Promotes and sells diabetes products within the assigned area to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Develops long-term relationships with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
- Pursues leads, assesses needs, and provides product services.
- Conducts market research on customers and competitors.
- Implements and adjusts market development strategies.
- Communicates customer feedback on products or modifications to internal teams.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Ensure your resume demonstrates the following minimum requirements:
- Valid registered license in one or more of the following: CDCES, RN, RD, PA, NP, Pharmacist.
- Associates Degree with 4 years of clinical experience OR Bachelors Degree with 2 years of clinical experience.
Nice to Have
- Bachelors degree.
- Prior sales experience strongly preferred.
- Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or CDCES preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
