As a leader in community healthcare, UnityPoint Health Jones Regional Medical Center (JRMC) is the only hospital in the Jones County area and cares for more than 5,500 people each month. The state-of-the-art facility specializes in 24-hour emergency care, lab and radiology, inpatient hospital visits and nursing care, outpatient surgeries and clinics, counseling and rehabilitation. The hospital, named in the Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals, also has family practice clinics across the region.
- Established team of 3 physicians and 3 Advanced Practitioners
- Established practice serving the Anamosa and Jones County community
- Opportunity to practice outpatient medicine in an established and well-known clinic
- Clinic location near the Jones Regional Medical Center with all the additional ancillary services available, imaging, labs, etc.
- Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferences
- Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community
- Full-time position, including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access
- 24/7 hospitalist program available
- Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
- No nights or weekends
- Shared call amongst the providers. Triaged through MyNurse
- Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
- General family medicine procedures such as joint injections, skin excisions, lacerations, casting, etc.
- Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
- Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
- MD or DO
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine
- Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
- Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physicians field of practice
- Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
- Rural health location to offer additional stipend for Student Loan and/or Retention bonus average $100,000+; Other stipulations apply and must live in Jones county
- Initial 2-year salary guarantee with ability to exceed on an innovative compensation program
