This faculty position, employed by the University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine and practicing in UT Health East Texas facilities, seeks a skilled Urology Physician with robotics experience to join our team in Athens, Texas. The full-time role offers a balance of outpatient and inpatient care, with opportunities to perform advanced robotic-assisted urologic procedures and manage a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will be committed to high-quality, patient-centered care and have experience with robotic surgery.

Requirements:

  • Board-certified/board-eligible in Urology.
  • Robotics experience required (Da Vinci Robotic platform preferred).

About the Position:

  • Patient Load: 2025 patients per day (outpatient & inpatient combined).
  • Surgical Volume: 15 surgical patients per week (robotic and non-robotic cases).
  • Schedule: Monday Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
  • Call Schedule: 10 days per month and 1 weekend.
  • EMR System: EPIC.
