Gastroenterology Opportunity (Inpatient only) - Close to South Carolina Beaches

MUSC Health - Florence Medical Center is seeking 2 BC/BE Gastroenterologists to form an inpatient-only gastroenterology service. This service will operate on a seven-on/seven-off schedule, focusing on inpatient consults and endoscopy procedures. The team will collaborate with an existing busy gastroenterology practice comprising 1 other Gastroenterologist and 2 Nurse Practitioners, with the department experiencing growth.

About this position:

• Employed by the MUSC Health System
• Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible
• Position includes a MUSC faculty appointment and resources of South Carolina's leading academic Health System
• 100% inpatient focus with ERCP and EUS experience preferred but not mandatory
• Hospitalist and intensivist support; GI service is consult-only
• Endoscopy lab and office located nearby
• Excellent support in medical, surgical, and critical care
