Overview
BJC Medical Group is the multi-specialty physician organization of BJC HealthCare, including over 600 doctors and advanced practice providers affiliated with top-ranked hospitals in the area.

BJC Medical Group physicians are trained and certified in over 25 medical specialties, serving patients in more than 125 locations across greater St. Louis, mid-Missouri, and southern Illinois.
North County Endocrinology and GI Associates are located in North St. Louis County.
Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
The physician will provide professional medical services within the specialty, focusing on direct patient care, and perform related duties such as completing medical records, providing MyChart consultations, managing inbasket messages, conducting patient education, and collaborating with care team members.
Responsibilities
- Manage the medical care of your patient panel, including inpatient hospital care through rounds or arrangements with hospitalists, in accordance with Medical Staff requirements.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and care team members to ensure excellent patient outcomes at designated clinic locations and outreach sites.
- Perform and document medical histories and physicals as required by hospital bylaws.
- Provide or arrange call coverage for clinic and inpatient care, following BJC policies and legal standards.
- Collaborate and teach advanced practice providers and support staff involved in patient care.
- This is a safety-sensitive position; the ability to work alertly and safely is essential.

Education
- Doctorate in Medicine
Experience
- <2 years
Supervisor Experience
- No experience required
Licenses & Certifications
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Licensed Physician
Preferred Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience
