Mid State Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center is seeking a fellowship-trained, BC/BE Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon to join our world-class, physician-led team in Alexandria, Louisiana.
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon to support our growing patient demand. The ideal candidate will be BE/BC in Orthopaedic Surgery with fellowship training in Spine. This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative and high-performing healthcare environment with strong infrastructure and physician support with brand new ASC opening in Fall 2026!
About Mid State Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center:
Mid State is the leading provider of orthopaedic care within a two-hour radius of Alexandria, LA. We deliver personalized care using advanced technology while ensuring each patient receives compassionate attention.
- Experienced Team: 10 physicians, supported by 6 PAs and 3 NPs.
- Locations: Two primary clinics (Alexandria and Pineville), three satellite clinics, one Orthopaedic Urgent Care, and two physical therapy locations.
- Advanced Facilities: Onsite EMG, imaging, injections, and DME. State-of-the-art ASC opening in August 2026 (Phase 1).
- Technology: Utilize ModMed EMR system for seamless workflow.
- Strong Affiliations: Partnerships with LSU Shreveport, Louisiana Christian University, and the US Ski Team.

Qualifications:
- Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Orthopedic Surgery with spine fellowship
- Eligible for or holding a valid Louisiana medical license.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for providing excellent patient care.
