Bay Cove pursues this mission by providing individualized and compassionate services to people facing challenges such as developmental disabilities, mental illness, substance use disorders, and homelessness at over 175 program sites throughout Greater Boston and Southeastern Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

The Journey to Success (JTS) program has a long history of serving formerly chronic homeless individuals who are under the influence of alcohol or other substances, or who exhibit behaviors related to mental health and/or substance use that create barriers to accessing and retaining permanent supportive housing. The JTS Program provides low-threshold housing services tailored to individual needs, focusing on engagement in care and needs assessment to promote safe and affordable permanent housing. The Clinical Program Director ensures adherence to the service delivery model and provides timely, accurate data on service delivery. The program is committed to serving tenants with dignity and respect, tailoring interventions based on individual history and preferences. The Clinical Program Director leads this effort through effective management and leadership.

The Clinical Program Director will oversee various roles within the JTS program, including supervising case managers, managing a caseload of tenants, providing clinical feedback and consultation to staff on complex cases, coordinating care for clients with complex mental health needs, liaising with other service providers, and handling crisis intervention and de-escalation.

The Director assesses individual needs, ensures safety and well-being, and facilitates engagement or re-engagement in behavioral health services through appropriate referrals to community-based services.
