Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of programs throughout Arizona. CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness.
Job Summary
The Medical Director is responsible for establishing and overseeing psychiatric and addiction clinical practice for all behavioral health services provided by CBI. The medical director ensures that quality services are provided in accordance with evidence-based practices, community standards, and applicable laws. They coordinate with the practice management team to oversee daily clinical issues and manage practitioners. Additionally, they work with the Psychiatric Medical Director and Chief Medical Officer to establish and oversee integrated care in the Crisis, Inpatient, and Expedited Care Units. The medical director will also establish and maintain relationships with community stakeholders and participate in relevant committees such as peer review, quality, pharmacy, safety, and wellness. They report to the Chief Medical Officer regarding clinical performance.
Skills/Requirements:
- MD or DO with completion of an accredited residency in psychiatry; minimum 2 years' experience as a physician; management experience preferred.
- Board certification in psychiatry, active Arizona license, DEA licensure in good standing.
- CPR/First Aid and CPI Certification.
